in getting it right
Yellow Inc. is a little but good design and marketing group that helps businesses, organizations, and individuals speak up, step forward and stand out.
We are small...keeping us flexible, keeping the overhead down and giving our clients the personal touch that leads to true collaboration. The creative juices flow and we can always assemble our senior-level creative partners, writers, strategists, programmers and artists, as needed, on projects for the perfect fit.
We believe in the power of great design, the energy of working creatively together, and good, clean, simple, direct communications.
Many of our relationships with clients have lasted for years and we like to think this speaks to our creative solutions, our results, and the way we work with and for our clients.
Yellow's team can assist you with both print and web projects, logo development, branding, messaging, photography and illustration, copywriting and project management from concept to delivery.

Beth Greely has spent the last thirty years making things and making things happen.
best photo shoot ever: shooting a cancer patient and her nurse case manager for the Harvard Pilgrim's annual report. They had only spoken on the phone through many years of long and intimate medical procedures but had never met. When these two women met for the first time there was not a dry eye in the room when they embraced. The photo shoot then captured their amazing, playful, loving, hopeful relationship. Girlfriends for life!
proudest project: working on Deval Patrick's first communications team that helped get him get his message out and set him apart as a different kind of candidate. He won!
craziest project: painting squash and fall veggies as decor for the Natick Organic Farm Harvest Dinner fundraiser.
best idea: convincing Old Sturbridge Village to approach their fundraising in a different way. We did a series of direct mail pieces which spelled out the cost of running the museum with a very direct approach and it yielded amazing results. People who had given $50 now gave $100. People who had given $200 became $400 donors and many first time donors stepped up.
best complement: convincing Smith College Admissions to do a funky piece which hailed the virtues of going to school in Northampton. Bright colors, cut paper illustrations and fun copy completed the piece. When incoming first year students were asked what materials helped them choose to go to Smith they cited that piece, hands down!
